Omit Five – SPEAK RANDOM:
What a great title for this improv/contemporary set… jazzers who want the high energy of improvised, yet want some recognizable “form” will totally dig this, especially tunes like “Anni Luce“. For listeners who want the “cool” to also be a part of the experience, I’ve no doubt that pieces like “I Wanna Feel Nasty” will fill the bill (some excellent bass & guitar on this one, too). My personal favorite of the thirteen performances was “Family“, which swirls with the same emotions you experience with that unit.
